Idaho has made changes to their tax code to match the changes from the One Big Beautiful Bill. Unfortunately, these changes were made after the tax season started and may not reflect on your copy of the tax return if you filed before March 19th. The Idaho State Tax Commission has stated they will correct these returns on their end with no amended returns necessary. If you had overtime or tips listed on your federal return, your Idaho tax may be reduced and you may receive a refund or larger refund than anticipated. Tax returns filed going forward should be correct.
